Interest Group  What is YouthBuild? Outline YouthBuild was founded in 1978 by Dorothy Stoneman in East Harlem, New York. The movement has grown to impact thousands of young people around the world with positive youth development, education, career training, and workforce readiness.  In 1984, Stoneman and a coalition of other youth-serving programs in NYC orchestrated YouthBuild's expansion citywide. In 1988, YouthBuild began to spread nationally, and in 1990, YouthBuild USA was formed as a support center for the movement with Stoneman as its CEO.  By 2001, the program laid the groundwork for its international expansion, starting in South Africa eventually expanding to several more countries. Political Pundit  Meet Tiffany D. Cross  Tiffany D. Cross is an American television host, political analyst, and author. Cross attended Clark Atlanta University, where she majored in mass communications with a emphasis on radio, television, and film.  She spent over 20 years working with media and politics, covering local, state, and federal campaigns and elections, as well as Washington D.C. politics. She firstly began working as a reporter at an Atlanta radio station. She later worked for  CNN  as an associate producer in the early 2000s. Cross was also the Washington, D.C.,  bureau chief  for  BET Networks  and later became a resident fellow at the Harvard Kennedy school institute of politics.  Tiffany Cross was a regular guest on  MSNBC  programs, mostly for AM Joy, and in July 2020 she became one of the show's rotating quest hosts.
